Both males and females have unwanted hairs in their body. Everybody wishes to be fresh and energetic. It can be done in a many number of ways according the level of hairs in the body. It is found that around 80% of the women and around 50% of the men are going for hair removal in some form or the other. Facial hair removal is more popular among men and women. Hair removal in the hands, legs, arms, underarms, bikini area, face, and eyebrows are commonly practiced these days. Sports persons go for hair removal since it will cut down the wind resistance and improve their competitive speeds. There is a report saying that hair removal salons are getting more and more men customers for removing hair. Different devices are used for hair removal in different parts of the body. Waxing, sugaring, and electrolysis are the most preferred methods for permanent body hair removal. Laser treatments are also used for permanent body hair removal. Waxing is a method of hair removal in which wax is applied over the hairs and then a cotton strip is rubbed on the wax in the direction of the hair growth. Waxing and sugaring are done for male body hair removal. Waxing removes the hairs from the roots and hence the regrowth of hairs in the removed area takes between 6 to 8 weeks. After hair removal through waxing even if the hair grows it is thinner and is sparser in the area. There are not many hairs in that area. Upon further hair removal the hair may go off permanently. Usage of a hair growth inhibitor after male body hair removal through waxing is usually done to reduce the growth of hairs in that area. Then the cotton strip is removed in the opposite direction of the hair growth for permanent body hair removal. Sugaring is also a method that is used for hair removal permanently. The difference is the sugar paste instead of wax for removal. Whether a person is using waxing or sugaring he is advised to use a hair growth inhibitor after the removal of hairs to prevent hair growth or to slow down the growth of hairs. Most of the sports persons who are involved in the sports like swimming and cycling opt for permanent body hair removal, since permanent body hair removal would improve their speeds by reducing the air friction. There are many devices that are used for permanent body hair removal. Each device comes with its own functionality and ease of use with a price tag that is affordable. Electrolysis and Laser treatments remove the hairs permanently from the skin. In these methods the hair follicle is destroyed so that the hair does not grow again. Electrolysis method uses needles to supply electric current to the hair follicles. This electric current creates some chemical changes or generates heat to destroy the hair follicles. In Laser treatment the laser beams are directed towards the hair follicles to destroy it. Laser treatments are costly when compared to other methods of hair removal..

Throughout history man has tried many different ways of removing unwanted body hair. From ancient Egyptian depilatory creams to abrading stones to painful electrolysis, man has tried many different mechanisms to remove body hair. With the new Sonata diode laser, hair removal is fast and virtually painless. The Sonata laser is a diode laser generating a 810nm laser beam. This wavelength has been proven to be the most effective in targeting hair for removal in most skin types. Diode lasers offer the optimal depth of energy absorption while targeting the melanin within each hair to effectively disable follicles and prevent future hair growth. Unlike other diode lasers, the Sonata can deliver pulse rates of up to 3 pulses per second. This means that your treatment can be done in 1/3 the time of other lasers. An entire back or full legs treated in less than 45 minutes. Not only is the Sonata faster but due to continuous wave technology the treatment is safer with less discomfort. With the Sonata laser we can deliver the most effective laser hair removal in less time, with less discomfort. Call us for more information or to schedule a complimentary consultation. Call (888) 596-FACE. Ask about our new flexible pricing structure, allowing you to get more out of your laser hair removal series. Laser hair removal was the second most popular cosmetic treatment in the last two years. Over 600,000 people received laser hair removal last year alone. Unwanted hair is a concern that continues to plague men and women across the country and around the world. Scientists have continually struggled to develop a laser system that can achieve effective long term hair removal until the Sonata.Sonata is "The best laser hair removal system?ever!" Many doctors across the country agree that the Sonata hair removal system provides the safest and easiest hair removal of any system available today. Treatments are faster, delivering up to 3 pulses per second.
Ever hear of hydrogen cars? This new breed of cars being developed far exceeds the current gasoline-electric hybrid cars as far as cleaning up the environment and lessening the U. S. dependence upon foreign oil. Automakers expect to have hydrogen cars in the showrooms in the next 5 ? 10 years. So, what's all the hoopla about hydrogen? Plenty. Hydrogen is the most plentiful element in the universe. With such abundance, there is no change of running out unlike the fossil fuels. If you remember your high school chemistry, you'll know that water is made up of two parts hydrogen and one part water. That means that hydrogen can be created for hydrogen cars by splitting water via electrolysis. It only means that by using fuel cells to power hydrogen cars, that hydrogen and oxygen can be run through a cell (generating electricity and heat) and joined together at the end of the process to produce its only bi-product, water. This means that hydrogen fuel cell powered cars will only dispense a small amount of steam (water in the air) and no pollutants. This kind of zero pollution vehicle will help with current smog problems, air quality-related health problems, greenhouse gases, global warming and the hole in the ozone. You just can't get a greener green car that a hydrogen car.The other benefit of hydrogen cars running on "hydrogen highways" (as both President George W. Bush and California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger are calling them) is that this will lessen the U. S. dependence upon foreign oil. By using hydrogen as an alternative fuel source, no longer will OPEC have the stranglehold upon our economy and subjugating us to ever-increasing gasoline prices. What has to happen to make this a reality? With current technology, the hydrogen cars are still too expensive for the consumer market, so prices will need to come down as new technology is developed. In addition, the infrastructure will have to be in place to support a hydrogen highway network. Fuel stations, such as the 15 currently operating in California, will need to be expanded to a nationwide network. And probably the most important aspect of having the hydrogen highway become a reality is stepping up economical production of hydrogen for use in hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.Hydrogen does not occur in any significant amounts by itself in nature. Hydrogen can be found in compounds however, such as water or in natural gas and methods can be used to extract the hydrogen from the other compounds. With current technology, the energy needed to extract the hydrogen is nearly the same as the energy gained by the hydrogen itself, so more advanced and economical methods of producing hydrogen from solar, wind, hydro and gas reformation power will be need so that enough hydrogen is available to support the new hydrogen economy. It may be another 5 ? 10 years away until the new line of hydrogen cars start rolling off the showroom floors, but h2 vehicles, as they are already known will be the "next big thing" in the automotive industry for this century..

(ContentDesk) August 26, 2005 -- New breakthrough laser technology can get rid of unwanted hair, quickly, easily and now with proven long-term results. One hate shaving, tired of putting up with painful waxing, tweezing, depilatory creams, and all of the time that removing unwanted facial or body hair can take, laser hair removal may be the answer to those. Getting rid of unwanted hair can be painful and time consuming. Until now, the only options for removing unwanted hair were smelly hair removal creams, sharp razors, stinging wax or painful electrolysis needles. Since the laser can treat lots of hair follicles at once you get much quicker (and more permanent) results than those other temporary fixes. In fact, laser hair removal is perhaps the greatest hair removal breakthrough in the last 50 years. First, in order to understand how the laser works to remove unwanted hair, some background information about hair growth will be helpful. Unlike other methods of hair removal, laser hair removal success depends upon the hair growth cycle. Human hairs are made up of three parts: the bulb at the base of the hair follicle (which produces hair), the shaft and the hair itself. The bulb and the shaft are embedded beneath the surface of the skin, therefore the hair is the only part visible to the naked eye. In order to remove unwanted hair on a long-term basis it is necessary to destroy the hair follicle and its bulb. rumor says that removing hair makes it grow back thicker and darker... Well, it won't. And removing hair also will not make it grow back faster. Every single hair follicle follows a cycle that includes growth, resting and shedding. Generally 70-90% of your hair is growing at any one time (called the Anagen stage). And the other 10-30% of your hair is resting (called the Telogen stage). These figures are site-dependent. That is, they vary depending upon what part of the body the hairs are located. At the end of the resting stage, each old hairs shed and new hair begins to grow again (Anagen stage). It is only during this growing phase that hair follicles can be disabled by laser hair removal. Detail explaination can be found here: http://www.laser-hair-removal-chicago.us http://www.laser-hair-removal-chicago.us share some great information regarding laser hair removal chicago and laser hair removal in general.
Laser hair removal is the best available method for hairremoval because of the several advantages offered by thismethod. Laser hair removal method scores over other methodsof hair removal for its ease of use, less time-consuming,little or no side effects and a long lasting treatment forremoving unwanted hair from the face and the rest of thebody.A scientist who accidentally exposed his arm to 692 diodepumped YAG for a few seconds discovered laser hair removaltreatment in late 1970's. The exposure burned off the hairbut did not damage the skin. After few weeks, the scientistnoticed a bald patch on his arm. Further research anddevelopment resulted in the birth of a revolutionary newmethod to get rid off unwanted hair. Since then, Laser Hairremoval has become popular with both men and women of allage.Advantages of Laser Hair RemovalThe relief from the age-old hair removal methods likeplucking, waxing, shaving is temporary. In the new hairremoval method of electrolysis, each hair is treatedseparately. This makes the process time consuming andrestricted to small areas. The inconvenience faced in theold methods has made the Laser Hair Removal the mostpopular hair removal technique. Most of the cosmetologistsprefer laser hair removal to other methods of hair removal. Here are some advantages of Laser Hair Removal: 1. Ease of Use - Laser treatment uses the principle oflight energy absorbed by dark matter such as hair. Anexperienced laser technician directs and fires a laser beamat the area of hair growth thereby burning off the unwantedhair. Laser hair removal method is not painful like waxing.Users have compared it to a tingling sensation like a smallpinch.2. Less time - Unlike electrolysis that is painful andtakes a lot of time, laser hair removal is faster. Withlaser hair removal process, facial hair can be removed inabout 45 minutes. Larger body parts take a longer time.3. Few side effects - Unlike waxing or hair removingcreams, laser hair removal treatment does not cause skinirritation or any other side effects. 4. Long Lasting - Laser hair removal treatment is longlasting than waxing, shaving or hair removal creams whichhave to be repeated every few weeks. The wavelength required by laser to achieve efficienttreatment is in the range of 670 to 890 nanometers. Thetreatment includes wearing protective eyewear. Usually, more than a single treatment is required since hair is bestremoved when it is in the active growth phase.===========================================================Find out all you need to know about permanent laser hairremoval.

Use this overview to re-examine your current hair removal method to ensure you are using the best possible method FOR YOU! #1: Depilatories Depilatories as a hair removal method are quick and inexpensive. However, they can be harsh on the skin and messy. Results: About 2 weeks. #2: Electrolysis In most cases this hair removal method is permanent. It can be painful. Also it could be expensive depending on the size of the area to be treated. It is important to get professional treatment to avoid skin damage. Results: Permanent. #3: Hair Inhibitors They are easy to use with any existing hair removal method (excluding depilatories). They reduce and even stop hair growth. Results: After 3 to 6 months, significant reduction in hair growth, in some cases, permanent. #4: Laser Treatment Now with CoolGlide technology, all skin types can be treated. In most cases this hair removal method is permanent. There might be mild discomfort. It can be expensive depending on the size of the area to be treated. It is important to get professional treatment to avoid skin damage. Results: Permanent. #5: Shaving This is a quick and inexpensive method of hair removal. It has to be repeated frequently however. Extra care must be given to the skin. Results: From 1 to 3 days. #6: Sugaring Sugaring hair removal is inexpensive and generally kind to the skin as sugaring pastes are natural. It can be painful. Results: 3 to 6 weeks. #7: Threading This hair removal method is used mainly for eyebrows and facial hair. A person skilled in threading should perform the method. Results: Up to 3 weeks. #8: Tweezers Tweezers are good for isolated hairs and some facial areas. It is an inexpensive method of hair removal although good quality tweezers are needed. Results: From 3 to 8 weeks. #9: Waxing Waxing hair removal is quick and inexpensive. Some waxes can affect the skin. It may be painful depending on a person's toleration level. Results: From 3 to 6 weeks. Conclusion: It must be stated that no hair removal method is ideal. Everyone is different when it comes to pain toleration, hair growth rate, hair texture, hair color and skin sensitivity. A method that works fine for one may not suit someone else. However, by examining this list you can select the method that is least painful, most economical, and convenient for you as an individual..

"There is a great deal of interest in hydrogen as the new energy medium, because hydrogen can be extracted from many sources, using fossil fuels, nuclear power, and alternative energy sources such as wind, solar or biomass." said Jim Beyer, CEO of Vision Instruments. "But the physical characteristics of hydrogen gas are not favorable for storage. Hydrogen is very difficult to store even for stationary use, let alone for use in vehicles." Much effort has been expended to find a storage medium for hydrogen. These efforts have led to chemical hydrides, metallic hydrides, and even carbon nanotubes. To date, none have achieved the DOE weight, density and cost requirements for a fuel medium of the future."Hydrogen, while it looks attractive, may not be the best medium for transporting energy," says Atreya. "The most efficient and convenient medium depends on the renewable sources we can eventually congregate. For example, it may be that we can produce bio-fuel from cellulosic feed stock and develop appropriate machines to use it directly without adding a step first to convert it into hydrogen.""Our approach is radical, perhaps even heretical," continues Beyer. "We've analyzed the hydrogen economy and found it wanting. And we aren't the only people who have noticed this." Recent articles in 'Science' and elsewhere have begun to question the efficacy or practicality of a hydrogen economy. "We propose instead to use two gases, methane and carbon dioxide, to support an energy economy. Instead of a single pipeline or tank of hydrogen, there are two pipelines or tanks, forming a circuit, much like an electrical circuit." Since the current infrastructure already supports natural gas, a methane economy could be readily incorporated in the current energy system. "The interesting thing is that the storage and transportation costs of the two gases are less than moving hydrogen singly. Furthermore, the physical characteristics of either gas is much more favorable than storing pure hydrogen. Methane or carbon dioxide can be stored today in existing gas well formations" says Beyer. The carbon dioxide sent back to the energy source is reacted with hydrogen (produced from electrolysis) to produce methane. This is done in a device called a Sabatier reactor. The technology has been around for a hundred years, but has never been used in this application. "This means fuel cells are not required, no huge infrastructure changeovers, just carbon dioxide needed to fill the return pipe. This can include carbon-neutral sources such as ethanol production facilities. We've analyzed the overall system, and determined that it will be more efficient and less expensive than a pure hydrogen economy, will better motivate renewable energy development, and will better lower overall carbon dioxide emissions," says Beyer..

More and more people are giving laser hair removal a shot! If you're not into this hot, new treatment, then you've come to the right place. Imagine never having to deal with messy creams. Imagine talking to the grocery clerk and not having her stare at the hair on your upper lip. Imagine never having to hide your precious parts at the beach. Stop imagining! You can make your dreams of hairless summers and hairless winters come true. First of all I believe it's important for women and men to find out what causes abnormal hair growth before they start drastic measure to remove it. Doctors say hair usually grows abnormally due to hormones. Once you've determined whether you have health concerns related to your hair, then you can decide on the appropriate remedy.I can tell you lasers are safe and effective in the removal of unwanted hair. A trained specialist can help you determine what treatment is best for you using your skin and hair type. With lasers you don't have to worry about shaving, tweezing, or waxing now and forever. Forever sounds like a long time, doesn't it? Lasers produce a beam of light that is used to remove hair. The light passes through the skin to the hair follicle. Once it gets to the hair it basically kills it. Neat, huh? The process only takes less than an hour.Lasers are attracted to dark colors. You'll get the best results if your hair is darker than your complexion. You're wondering if the laser has any side effects. It does if you have a tan. Tanning and lasering leads to burning. Ouch, it really hurts so you'll want to beware of adding the two in combo. Also, it's important to note that the laser doesn't do a thing for blondes, white or gray haired people. If you're not ready to give lasers a shot, then there are several other techniques on the market that can help you get rid of your hair-raising problem. Let's talk about the only permanent hair removal known to man right now. It's called electrolysis. If you're scared of needles, then this is not the treatment for you. You'll want to make sure that you have not waxed or tweezed within a few days of having a treatment. This makes the hair follicle easier for the electrologist to reach. The electrologist inserts a tiny needle into each hair follicle and uses a short impulse of energy to kill the root. Sounds, cool, huh? The hair is tweezed out one at a time. Sounds like an awfully long process. However, it only takes a few hours. You will most likely need more than one treatment to kill all of your hair. There are electrolysis kits that you can use at home, but I wouldn't recommend it. You're better off using a licensed electrologist. Speaking of problems, what's yours? Everyone has a specific area of the body where they want to be bald. Women usually hate facial hair on their upper lips, chin and sides of face. Hairs in those areas don't seem to bother men that much! Okay, I shouldn't joke about it! Hair on the lip is very troubling to most women. It can be removed using a bleaching procedure. Bleaching works if your hair is similar in color to your skin. Be careful, bleaching lightens hair in dark complexions. I'll never forget someone with a dark complexion once asked me if she could use a depilatory creams on the lip. No way, don't even think! My response was fast and furious. Depilatories are harsh on sensitive skin and should never be placed on the lips or eyes areas. The important thing to remember about depilatories is you should use them on the legs and thighs only. Depilatory creams dissolve the keratin in hair. As you can imagine that's some pretty strong stuff! Be sure to test patches of skin before you put the cream on. The cream can cause rashes and skin discolorations. It is possible to treat a negative reaction with an anti-bacterial solution and antibiotic. Waxing on the other hand is a great way to remove hair from the legs and thighs and bikini area. Your skin will feel so clean, smooth and soft after this procedure. Waxing doesn't irritate your skin the way shaving and creams do. However, waxing is a temporary hair removal procedure. Waxing is similar to the sugaring procedure that is also temporary. Sugaring is becoming more popular for people who want to be hairless in the bikini area. The sugar is warmed not at all like the high heat that's used in waxing. The warmed sugar is placed on the skin. Your technician will then remove the sugar with muslin strips. The sugar sticks mostly to the hair and not the skin. That makes it easier when it's time to remove the hair. I highly recommend sugaring because the red bumps and other skin irritations are minimized with it. You're daring, right? You want a bikini wax, but you want it all over. Then, you'll have to try what is called a Brazilian bikini wax. Have you ever been to Brazil? The natives are not at all ashamed of their bodies. The Brazilian wax removes hair all over the pubic area including the labia and buttocks. You can tell your technician how far to go, or not go. A patch of hair is sometimes left above the vagina. Now, the procedure for getting a Brazilian wax is the same just about as with a bikini wax. You'll be given a paper thong if you're a little shy to put on for Brazilian bikini wax. Your hair will be cut using some scissors. The wax is then put on using a wooden stick. Strips of cloth are used to take the hair off. Tweezers are sometimes used to pick away stray hairs. Some folk's say it hurts, others swear it works magic to improve their self-esteem and body image. You now have choices whether it's shavers and creams or lasers and wax. You no longer have to live with a hair-raising experience. Get rid of it! The choice is yours..
